Welcome to the Wool Vineyard website
The Vineyard Church in Wool is currently a small fellowship in the village of Wool which originates from various different backgrounds. This group of people started meeting together in 1985, and provided the platform that we stand on today. Because of the diversity from different backgrounds our congregation has, different opportunities for outreach and ministry are pursued.
Currently we have regular Sunday morning services starting at 10:30am (usually....!) with the option of prayer with our musicians and leadership team if you would like beforehand. Our services usually comprise of a time of worship and the Word of God, allowing for prayer time also as we welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit. The service will usually end at approx. 12:30pm, finishing with tea, coffee, biscuits and doughnuts if we're lucky!
At present, we haven't got a Pastor for our church, as Pastor Martyn Parry stepped down as our church leader in the early months of 2012, to explore different avenues of spreading Gods' Word. This said, our Leadership Team have taken the reigns in this new season and are helping to guide our members into a deeper relationship with God, with the aim of equipping each other with the Tools to Glorify the Lord in our everyday lives! That said, we do have visiting Pastors and ministers to share with us on a Sunday morning. If you are interested in sharing with us, visit the Contacts page to speak to a member of the Leadership team.
If You're interested at all as a member of the wider community in Purbeck and Dorset, or on holiday or even just passing through, feel free to contact a member of the leadership team via the Contacts page or come along for the ride!
We look forward to seeing you here!
