Small groups are the heart of the church. A place to experience more of what God is doing.

Joining a group is an easy way of making friends and
getting involved.

The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and we enjoy
eating together!

At Wool Vineyard, we are committed to being
more than simply a large group of people who gather together on a Sunday.

Small groups provide the perfect smaller setting to meet with friends, a place of support and encouragement,
and a place to know and be known.

All small groups vary, and you are encouraged
to try and find one that will suit you.
During a typical small group evening you might worship together, pray for each other, and have a time of sharing or teaching.

Small groups may also organise weekends away, blessing the community projects and social activities.

Essentially they are a place where we can belong, receive pastoral care, grow in our faith and have fun: you are welcome to try any of them.

How do I find a Small /Home Group?
You can see a list of current small groups and their locations listed or you can pick up a selection of small group flyers with photos and contact numbers of the leaders from the information desk.

These have more details about where and when the groups take place.
Feel free to then ring the leaders if you need more information about the group, or you need to know the exact location etc.

All of the groups have an "open door" policy and welcome visitors.

This allows you to find the group that best suits you, even though it's not necessarily the closest geographically.

What are the objectives of small groups?

  • To grow more like Jesus

  • To seek the Fathers face in worship and prayer

  • To study the Bible in a practical way

  • To make friends

  • To receive healing and encouragement

  • To receive pastoral care

  • To learn to minister in the gifts of the Spirit

  • To develop pastoral – gifted leaders

  • To provide a structure for the church to grow, by multiplying groups.
